Celebrating 65 Years of Art, Community & Connection
For 65 years, the Centralia Cultural Society has brought culture, creativity and the community together.
Over six decades ago a group of aspiring creatives had a vision that became reality. The idea to build a home for creatives that would be accessible to the local and surrounding communities. That vision has led to creative storytelling through a range of mediums. and engage with the community to inspire future dreamers, builders and supporters.
Ground breaking 1961.
Looking back through the years the CCS has hosted exhibits, opening nights, theatre rehearsals, music performances, art classes, community gatherings, and more. Through these experiences we have been able to grow our programs, expand our reach and continue to live out our purpose: to connect arts with the community. Through Appreciation, Exhibition, Education, and Performance.
As we celebrate our 65th year, we thank who have shaped this journey: the founders who laid the groundwork, the artists who gave it life, the volunteers who sustained it, and the supporters who believed in its future. We would love to hear your personal stories and experiences with the Cultural Society. Share your memories, photos, laughs, cries and everything in-between.
